Thrash metal from Portugal; does exactly what you would expect it to. Excellent riffage, guitars are tight and huge, production is very clean and exact and all together is a refreshing change to what is landing in my inbox these days. Think Slayer, early Metallica and some Sepultura, mixed with some Hatebreed and I would say you are on the way to understanding what these guys sound like.

The catchy riffs are littered throughout this album and there are eleven tracks, which gives you 41 minutes of onion face pulling and head banging. I’m not really up for revisiting the thrash tunes of old, but I really enjoyed this album; relentless and powers through but with enough half time chug to feel the metal energy. Splice that with some wicked guitar solos, you have the recipe for a classic album. They have, somehow, managed to splice all their favourite bands in to one album. The sort of album you would hear if all the greats got together to make a compilation for charity. There are even dulcet tones of Lamb of God and Chimaira in there, which shows how far their musical span is.

This is a well worth listen and will make an excellent driving soundtrack. If you need an album for the gym or just to vent to, then windmill your head of your shoulders, while doing the hoovering to this. It’s a no nonsense thrash album and will be a great addition to anyone’s playlist.
