    Señoritas is the new project of Mitó Mendes (A NAIFA) and Sandra Baptista (A NAIFA / SITIADOS).

    In 2014, with the end of A NAIFA project, Señoritas create a new project, sharing the common taste of rehearsing, composing and playing together. This will, born a set of songs that they want to share with the public. These songs revolve around a female universe, tend to urban. With a dense, feminine and very Portuguese atmosphere, in a unique approach, life sings, but in a raw and direct way.

    The songs (all originals) are by the band itself, and the exceptions are framed in the same imaginary. This new project, minimalist musical point of view, based on Voice and Mitó Mendes guitar and accordion and electric bass of Sandra Baptista, supported by sets of programs that enhance the crudity and nudity of musical language.

    The first record it´s entitled "Acho que é meu dever não gostar" (I think it's my duty not like) and will be released by independent record label Rastilho Records, in October 2016.

Señoritas é o novo projecto de Mitó Mendes (A NAIFA) e Sandra Baptista (A NAIFA / SITIADOS).

Em 2014, com o fim d’A NAIFA, as Señoritas criam um novo projecto, partilhando o gosto comum de ensaiar, compor e tocar juntas. Desta vontade, nasceram um conjunto de canções que querem partilhar com o público. Estas canções, giram em torno de um universo feminino, tendencialmente urbano. Com uma atmosfera densa, feminina e bem portuguesa, numa abordagem singular, canta-se a vida, mas de uma forma crua e direta.

As músicas (todas originais) são da autoria da própria banda, e as excepções estão enquadradas no mesmo imaginário. Este novo projecto, minimalista do ponto de vista musical, assenta na Voz e na Guitarra de Mitó Mendes e no Acordeão e no Baixo eléctrico de Sandra Baptista, suportadas por sets de programações que realçam a crueza e nudez da linguagem musical.

O primeiro disco chama-se “Acho que é meu dever não gostar" e será editado pela independente Rastilho Records em Outubro de 2016.

Edição em CD Digipack com livro 16 páginas, com fotografias de Nuno Carvalho e Nuno Pinheiro.
